Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac Rehabilitation is a comprehensive group of services that includes
exercise, education, and counseling to promote a healthy lifestyle and
reduce cardiac risk factors. These services are provided to individuals
with known cardiovascular disease and their families. The primary goal
is to equip the patient and their family with the tools needed to make
informed health care decisions and to improve their cardiovascular fitness.
The Cardiac Rehabilitation services provided by Delta Regional Medical
Center are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and
Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The AACVPR is dedicated to ensuring
that all programs receiving this certification are demonstrating the highest
level of quality patient care.
