Financial Assistance

The Medical Center is committed to providing quality, accessible healthcare to everyone. Our policy is to provide services without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap. The Medical Center will provide uncompensated services for those patients who have emergency conditions and/or can demonstrate that they do not have adequate financial resources to pay for the care provided.

Federal and state laws require that all hospitals must seek payment for care provided. This means unpaid bills can ultimately be turned over to a collection agency, which can affect your credit status. Therefore, it is important to contact Patient Accounts if you think you may experience a problem with paying your bill. We treat all questions and personal information with confidentiality and courtesy.

Financing Program

Delta Health System and The Medical Center are proud to provide a new financing program to patients to help make paying your hospital bill easier. This program offers our patients a healthcare line of credit with 0% interest, no penalty fees and flexible re-payment options up to 36 months (terms and conditions apply). This interest-free financing helps you get the care you need with flexible payment options at no added cost, keeping you on the path toward complete physical and financial wellness.

The Medical Center Financial Counselors are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions concerning billing, payment options, the financing program, or charity care. Financial counselors are located in the Main Campus and also at the Pavilion. Financial Counselors may be contacted by calling 662-725-2148.
