Michael Trotter, M.D. , Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon

Delta Regional Medical Center announces the addition of Michael Trotter, M.D., Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon, to its medical staff.

Dr. Trotter received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.  He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and followed this with fellowships in vascular surgery at Baptist Hospitals in Memphis and thoracic/cardiovascular surgery at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans.  He is a member of several leading professional organizations and has been published numerous times.

“In these times of unprecedented changes in healthcare, the opportunity at Delta Regional Medical Center is tremendous,” Dr. Trotter said.  “I am pleased to be part of a team that is delivering state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to the Delta Region.”

Dr. Trotter’s office is located at 1705 Hospital Street in Greenville, and takes patients by referral only.
