Lakeisha White Richardson, M.D., OB/GYN
Delta Regional Medical Center announces the addition of Lakeisha Richardson, M.D., Obstetrician / Gynecologist, to its medical staff.
Dr. Richardson is a native of Indianola. She began her medical training and graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Richardson went on to serve her Internship and Residence at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
“I am very excited to be able to come back home to the Delta to practice medicine,” Richardson said. “I plan to help address some of the health disparities in the area like teenage pregnancy, unmanageable diabetes and STDs. I’m hoping to make a difference.”
An obstetrician/gynecologist is a physician specialist who provides medical and surgical care to women and has particular expertise in pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system. This includes preventative care, prenatal care, detection of sexually transmitted diseases, Pap test screening, and family planning.
Dr. Richardson’s office is located at 302 Arnold Avenue in Greenville, and her office number is 662-335-2093. We welcome Dr. Richardson to our team.
