Annie Lott Receives Award

Congratulations to Annie Lott, Director of Revenue Cycle Management, for being the recipient of the 2011 Making It Count Award given by the Mississippi Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).  This prominent award recognizes individuals within the healthcare field who have demonstrated leadership and commitment, have made significant contributions to the organizations they work for and the healthcare industry, and have “stepped up” in 2010. 

Annie Lott graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.  Lott joined the Delta Regional Medical Center team in 1998 as the Controller.  A licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1992, Lott’s role grew as the healthcare system expanded.  In 2001, she accepted the challenges of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer position with responsibilities including Patient Access Services and Patient Financial Services prior to accepting the newly created role of Revenue Cycle Management.  Annie has proven herself as a leader among her peers after 12 years at Delta Regional Medical Center.  Annie’s responsibilities include patient access, patient finance, eligibility, and reimbursement.  She manages more than 50 employees to ensure the smooth operations of Delta Regional Medical Center.  She has been instrumental in keeping the staff and facility updated on the changes in health care and the impact on their facility.  She has a reputation as a technical master of the inner workings of our organization, the systems, and has developed multiple queries to assist administration in making accurate decisions and improve the overall financial operations.  Her commitment to develop and monitor internal systems to ensure compliance to policy and procedures is a major contribution to the overall success of Delta Regional Medical Center.

Annie is active in the Greenville and Washington County region serving as a member of both the Washington School and Greenville Weston Public School booster clubs as well as St. James Episcopal Church.  Professionally, Annie has been a Board Member of the Mississippi Chapter of HFMA from 2007 – 2009, and in 2008 was honored as the Follmer Bronze Merit Award recipient recognizing her outstanding service to HFMA.  The Lott family consisting of husband, Todd, and their three children, Morgan, Katie Beth, and Charlie, are proud to call Greenville home.
