Occurring and Reoccurring Support Groups - 09/21/201102:15 pm -
At Delta Regional Medical Center, we strive to provide support to those facing difficult healthcare challenges. We understand that coping with a new disease diagnosis or battling with an addiction can take both an emotional and physical toll not only on the patient, but on the entire family as a whole. In an effort to help make these difficult times a bit more manageable, DRMC, along with other partnering organizations, provide a wide array of support groups. If you or a loved one is in need of support, please contact the appropriate group leader listed below.
Overeaters Anonymous
Every Tuesday Each Month
7:00 p.m.
DRMC Pavilion Learning Center

Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is a worldwide fellowship with about 7,500 meeting groups in nearly 60 countries. OA views compulsive overeating as a physical, emotional and spiritual disease. Members seek recovery on all three levels by following a twelve-step program patterned after that of Alcoholics Anonymous. No dues or fees are required for membership; the organization is self-supporting through member contributions and literature sales. OA is not affiliated with any public organization, political movement, ideology or religious doctrine.
