November is American Diabetes Month and the help bring awareness to this disease that affects 347,00 people living in Mississippi, DRMC is hosting a Diabetes Awareness Open House. This event is free and open to the public. Come get your glucose and blood pressure checked. Also, there will be a dietician on hand to talk about healthy eating habits for people with diabetes and information on a local diabetes support group. Enjoy refreshments, door prizes, and educational materials.
