Paul Dillon Awarded Engineer of the Year

Greenville, MS – Paul Dillon, Director of Plant Operations at Delta Regional Medical Center (DRMC) of Greenville, MS, was recently awarded Engineer of the Year 2010 by Mississippi Hospital Association Society of Healthcare Engineers.  This award recognizes those engineers who go the extra mile to promote the health care engineering profession.  The award was presented on Thursday, June 24th during the society’s annual meeting in Biloxi, MS. 

Paul Dillon has worked at DRMC for the past 15 years, and served for the past 10 years as Director of Plant Operations. Prior to working at DRMC, Dillon owned his own business, a petroleum service center.

Paul Dillon, a native of Greenville, is an active member of the Mississippi Hospital Association Society of Healthcare Engineers and served on their Board of Directors. Also, he is a member of American Society Healthcare Engineering, and a 2009 graduate of Leadership Washington County. 

Paul Dillon and his wife, Connie, live in Hollandale, MS.  Paul Dillon has four children:  Justin Dillon and Brent Dillon, both of Wayside; Dennis Weaver of Greenville; and Brian Weaver of Flora.  He also has three grandchildren:  Madison Weaver, three years old; Megan Weaver, four months old; and Ava Rose, five months old.
